Cringe can be funny. There's a whole genre of comedy shows that are all about making their audience as uncomfortable as possible. If you're getting into cringe comedy, I think Nathan For You is a good entry-level show. It's definitely cringe, but it doesn't leave you as uncomfortable as other cringe comedy shows. It's still got segments about guys drinking their grandson's pee to cure illnesses. Something like Curb Your Enthusiasm is far more difficult for a cringe beginner to dabble in. Every episode of that show accelerates to such a perfectly cringe apex that it cannot be enjoyed by the faint of heart or any advanced empaths.

While cringe comedy has entertained us for decades, there's another side to that coin. Some cringe content makes you want to cry for the person behind it. From hopeless romantics to earnest go-getters, these cringe pics, unfortunately, will not leave you laughing.
